Plant growth:
Trailing, vining plant with small, lance-shaped leaves. Grows compactly and can become lush and full with proper care.
Light:
Prefers bright, indirect light. We have this plant hanging in a southern window but it can also be put under a grow light or in an eastern or western facing window.
Soil (growing medium):
Well-draining mix is key. Use a blend of orchid bark, perlite, coco chunks, and a peat-based or cactus potting soil.
Water:
Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Water less in cooler months. Avoid overwatering.
Flowers:
Produces clusters of tiny, star-shaped flowers with a sweet, cinnamon-like scent, especially fragrant at night. Blooms typically appear in warmer seasons under good light. We love how we are greeted with this scent when we walk into the room in the morning.
Toxicity:
Non-toxic to cats, dogs, and humans.
